Thoughts and Beliefs… We Are All Different

Alright now.,… Most of you know that I am not one for religious bullshit. I am not one for anyone to come at me trying to tell me why I am going to hell or why I just may not go to heaven. I have my convictions and beliefs at this point. I am 42 years and I am pretty sure you are not changing my mind.
With that being said, if you know this about me, then don’t even attempt to try and come at me and change my mind. If you know this then respect what I believe and leave it at that.
I will never understand those that believe there is something better after they die. For me, my best life is right now and in the moment. I am NOT thinking about my “after life” of when I am buried six feet below.
A friend texted recently that said, “I’d be so depressed if I thought this was all there was to it. This life. Because mine has pretty much sucked.” And then they followed it up with, ” Heaven is perfect. This world is not”

Ya know what… More power to you that you believe that! However, one believes that heaven is perfect simply by reading a book that was written 2,000 + years ago? And then  they want to judge me for not believing said book? Ok I got it….
WOW WOW WOW I just do not understand. I live my life to have the most amazing life I know I could  have while I am on Earth. And strangely this person is thinking that their best life will be once they die and go meet God and Heaven. I am not trying to live a life for my “afterlife” . I am trying to live it here and now… ya know the YOLO! (You Only Live Once)
I read this text and really didn’t even know how to take it in. Is that how people that are “God Fearing” feel and believe? They believe so much that they want the “afterlife” ? How is that even possible?
I am NOT a believer and I DO NOT want the after life. I want the life I am in RIGHT NOW!  I may bitch about the daily bullshit I deal with, but for the most part I really do enjoy my life. I have friends and family around me and have a pretty cool job that challenges me on a daily basis. Judge me for being a “non believer” I am fine with that.
I will not judge you for being a “believer”….

I just don’t have it in me to judge anyone. The only person I judge every single day is the one I see in the mirror seven days a week 365 days a year. I have learned a lot over the years and come up with my own convictions and beliefs over the years.
It’s funny that I have heard/read from those that differ in opinion and some how I am always the one that is “wrong” in my beliefs/opinions.

I am a good person. I was raised to treat other as though you want to be treated. Treat others as how you want to be treated. Be kind, be compassionate, care about your fellow man/woman. It really does not need to come down to what religion you believe in.
Just because I don’t believe in “your God” doesn’t mean I am a bad person.
However, sadly it seems that many people out there will judge me simply because I do not succumb to “their” God.

And sadly…. Once they read this… This will when the fight will start! LMFAO!

At the end of the day I really don’t give two shits. I believe what I believe and DO NOT judge anyone for their beliefs. If someone judges me for my beliefs then so be it….. If you want to hold on to a book that is 2,000 years old then go right ahead that is your right. It’s just not my gig. Judge me? Go right ahead!

I live my life on Karma! I treat those that I care about with kindness and expect those to treat me the same way. The kicker is that most of those that “believe” cannot even have a discussion with me. I am ok with that. At the end of the day I will still survive! Why? Because I love all people no matter what their beliefs, religion, or their convictions are!

Until Next Time,
